About the Owner's - Michael & Sheila Howk
Wendinger Travel was founded in 1976 by brothers Peter & Paul.
Sheila Howk, Daughter of Peter and Dodie Wendinger worked for many years as an elementary educator and charter school administrator before joining Wendinger Travel in 2009. Alongside Peter & Dodie and Paul & Joleen, she began guiding tours and sharing her love of travel with others. In 2021, Sheila and her husband, Michael, became the new owners of Wendinger Travel, Inc. Together, Michael & Sheila continue to offer and guide a variety of domestic and international tours. Each year, they introduce new and exciting trips while maintaining their well-established favorites. With careful attention to every detail, they strive to give you a vacation to remember!
